Tammy Billik
Tammara Billik brings over 25 years of casting experience to the partnership of Billik/Wood Casting. She began her career working as an assistant Casting Director on films including: Raiders of the Lost Ark and E.T., then became the Casting Director of the series "Married...with Children" when she was only 25 years old. Since then, Tammy has cast over 500 episodes of primetime television series and numerous television pilots, Movies for Television and feature films. Tammy has been awarded the Casting Society of America's Artios Award for Casting Excellence for her work on the groundbreaking series "Ellen", and is a previous recipient of Temple Kol Ami's Bet Tzadek award. She holds a law degree from Loyola Law School and has served on the Boards of the Casting Society of America, the Human Rights Campaign and the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of Outfest.
Tammy also heads Next Please Productions, an entertainment consulting firm which provides talent related consulting to a variety of for-profit companies, start-ups and not-for profit organizations.
Jason Wood
Casting Director Jason Wood began his career in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia working with Emmy-nominated casting director Shay Griffin. As an independent casting director, Wood has worked on projects for all major network and cable outlets, including the Emmy winning Monk on USA starring Tony Shalhoub and most recently the ABC pilot and series Samantha Who? He cast the 2005 Sundance Film Festival hit Quinceanera, which accomplished the rare feat of winning both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award. He also cast 2007 Outfest HBO Audience Award winner Shelter, 2007 Toronto Film Festival hit Ping Pong Playa, and Pedro which premiered at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival. Wood received a 2007 Artios nomination for Outstanding Feature Casting for Quinceanera and in 2008 won the Artios for his work on the feature Park starring Ricki Lake, Cheri Oteri and William Baldwin. He is currently casting Kent State, based on the 1970 shootings and is co-producing two features, Crawl and Honeysuckle Blues
